Italian d'Amico books third quarter deficit

In line with competitors, Italian product tanker carrier d'Amico reports a negative third quarter result amid a historical low point in the tanker market. The carrier eyes progress by the end of the year.

Italian product tanker operator d'Amico International Shipping exits the third quarter in the red amid a low point in the tanker market, according to its quarterly report.

TCE revenue fell in the third quarter to USD 42.1 million against USD 54.1 million in the same quarter last year, and the operating result (EBITDA) dropped by 38 percent to USD 14.8 million compared to the same period last year.
