Maersk to acquire Viking equipment to tackle container fires

Viking Life-Saving Equipment will supply specialized equipment used to extinguish container fires throughout Maersk’s fleet.

Maersk will now provide specialized equipment to put out any fires that occur in containers about the Danish company’s ships.

According to a press release from Viking Life-Saving Equipment, which produces emergency equipment for the maritime sector, the firm will provide firefighting tools for Maersk’s entire container fleet.
