
Shelved plans for a joint venture with Maersk Broker have sparked intense talks and disagreement among the partners of Lightship Chartering. The merger, which was called off in June, would have seen the two entities combine their dry bulk chartering activities under a new company.
While Chairman Morten Have usually manages the firm's Geneva office, he spent Monday in meetings at Lighthouse Chartering's headquarters in Copenhagen. He did not respond to repeated inquiries from ShippingWatch.
