The Boom in New Maritime Educations

Denmark - and the Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in particular - are now entering into the fray to train managers and executives for the important maritime industry. 

This fall, CBS will start running a six month ”minor”, a package consisting of three to four elective courses offered in the second year of the cand.merc.-programme. The package is called “Minor in Maritime Business”.

The programme was developed following CBS’ consultation of various navy businesses in Denmark who have been asking for better options for training employees for leading positions, this especially in the many shipping companies and maritime businesses with headquarters in Copenhagen.
