Erria-investors at Risk of Losing More Money

Erria has already cost several well-known Danish business people large sums of money. Even though the company has carried out significant devaluations in 2011, there is still a risk of losses this year, says Erria CEO Henrik N. Andersen to ShippingWatch.

A tough year is over for Erria A/S, but even though the former chemical tank shipping company is hoping for a positive result in the 1st quarter of 2012, this is by no means guaranteed.

“We have attempted to devaluate all ships and to take all the losses in 2011, so what continues is a sound business. But I can’t guarantee that Uni-Tankers has an organization in place and is ready to take the ships. So if the ships keep sailing at a loss in a poor market, we will continue to lose money,” Erria CEO Henrik N. Andersen tells ShippingWatch.
