Evergas support for Lauritzen consolidation initiative

The newly established fast-growing shipping company, Evergas, supports the initiative from Lauritzen CEO, Torben Janholt who proposes a consolidation in the fragmented gas market

From its Copenhagen Head Quarters, Evergas has shown its support for the initiative from Torben Janholt who is willing to take charge in a gas market consolidation. Evergas, the superstructure of Eitzen Ethylene Carriers, got its name four months ago as a part of the Jaccar Holdings takeover of Eitzen. Evergas has set afloat an expansive plan to add 18 new medium-sized liquid ethylene carriers to the eight present at the shipping company today. Nevertheless, Evergas CEO, Martin Ackermann, thinks Torben Janholt’s initiative is both interesting and necessary.
