Torm silence on negotiation breakdown

The Torm headquarters do not wish to either confirm or deny the Financial Times rumours that the two interested investors presented last week have pulled the plug and that negotiations have collapsed.

Torm is not interested in either denying or confirming the rumours that the lengthy negotiations on the company’s future have collapsed.

“As soon as we have a concrete result of the negotiations we will present it in a company announcement”. This is the message from the Torm Press Officer, Jacob Risom, responding to today’s Financial Times article which states that the two investor groups presented by Torm last week have backed out of the negotiations.
