TDC CEO moves to Dong following Eldrup spectacle

The current CEO of the largest Danish telecommunications company, TDC, Henrik Poulsen, will take over the position as CEO of Dong Energy on 1 November 2012.

Henrik Poulsen has been President and CEO of TDC since 2008 but now, he has resigned with effect from 31 October in order to take over the position as CEO of Dong; a position which was left open after Anders Eldrup’s spectacular exit.

“The Board is very happy that Henrik Poulsen has accepted the job proposal. Dong Energy is a strong and well-managed company which is experiencing a considerable growth concerning offshore wind and oil & gas production. The board believes that Henrik Poulsen is the right man to continue the strategy and to secure the future development of the activities in Dong Energy”, Chairman of the board, Fritz Schur, says in a stock exchange announcement.
