Daily Maersk concept to be expanded

Maersk Line wants to expand Daily Maersk to new freight routes while also improving delivery time significantly by the end of the year, writes Lloyd’s List.

Chief Commercial Officer Lukas Vos informs that changes will be made to Maersk Lines. The flagship of the Maersk Group was for a long time “not operated very well and only did well because of the money that was being made in the oil part of the group.”

According to Lloyd’s List, Vos made these comments at a container shipping conference (Containerisation International’s Global Liner Shipping conference) where he criticized former mistakes made by Maersk Lines – including the suspension of Europe-Asia bookings performed last month.
