IMF: The global economic recovery has stagnated

The temporary recovery of global economy has stagnated, and Europe now constitutes the epicenter of a number of risks, said IMF CEO, Christine Lagarde on Thursday at the beginning of IMF and the World Bank’s spring meeting.

Things are looking bleak for the world economy. IMF CEO, Christine Lagarde, made a series of negative forecasts for the economic crisis during her participation in the opening of IMF and the World Bank's spring meeting on Thursday, writes Market Watch.

“We are in a fragile situation with an ongoing level of high risk,” said Christine Lagarde at the press conference of the spring meeting.
