Monjasa: We need capital for growth

The biggest challenge for the bunker company Monjasa is gaining access to the banks’ capital – capital that will be used to grow the business, says the company.

Monjasa wants to use capital on building up the business. But the company’s biggest problem is convincing the banks to loan them money.

“It is the access to capital that is causing us the most trouble. Increasing oil prices and increased activity means that we need bigger credits, but when the entire financial sector keeps pulling the brakes, it becomes very challenging for us,” Jan Jacobsen, CEO of Monjasa, told Danish newspaper Børsen last week.
