
The conflict between Danish Maritime Officers (DMO) and The Danish Shipowners’ Association has taken a new dramatic twist. Only a few weeks after having subpoenaed the two shipping companies DFDS and Royal Arctic Line in the conflict involving DIS, Danish Maritime Officers are now accusing the companies of having silenced the shipmasters who had been chosen to lead the case.
The fact remains that most of the captains and shipmasters that were going to lend their names to the case on behalf of The Danish Maritime Officers have withdrawn. Pernille Sædam Marstal (above), who is a lawyer with DMO, says:
