Maersk Line opens new office in Iraq

Maersk Line establishes itself in Iraq and thereby tries to create new business in a country with high growth rates but also a constant threat of political unrest, reveals a newsletter from Maersk Line.

In January 2012, Maersk Line established its presence in Iraq by opening it first office in the country. Maersk Line has a market share of about 10 – 12 percent of the Iraqi market, which Maersk Line dubs a high-growth area.
