
Copenhagen Malmö Port and Helsingborg are examining the possibility of establishing a joint company. The board has signed a letter of intent with a view to creating a new strong port actor in the entire Sound region.
“We can confirm that the commercial conditions for a possible joint venture are excellent at the moment. Right now, focus is on increasing revenues and lessening operation and investment costs as well as strengthening our competitive capacity in the entire Baltic region,” says Jo Kristian Okstad, CEO of HHAB, the company behind the port of Helsingborg.
