Danish shipping companies will have to wait until this fall to receive their replies from the European Commission on whether the Danish tonnage tax system and the Danish International Ship Register are acceptable to the Commission.

This is the estimate given by Simon Bergulf, the Head of the Brussels Office of The Danish Shipowners’ Association.
