Australia is at the top of Blue Water Shipping’s agenda, says CEO Kurt Skov to ShippingWatch. Blue Water Shipping has had business in Australia for several years, but now the transport- and logistics firm wants to expand by having its own offices on the continent.
“We are deeply engaged in normal general cargo transport with ships and planes, and we have had several orders for transportation of windmills. Now we have visited the country to see what we want to do to become stronger and open our own offices. We see possibilities for doing business within the oil-, gas-, and mining industries both on the east coast and the west coast, and we may open more offices. These are huge possibilities,” says Kurt Skov, who has traveled to Australia in order to examine the business potential.
