Dong Energy announces that the company has bought the activities of Norwegian oil company Front Exploration in Tromso. The takeover includes seven oil- and gas licenses, 20 employees, and office buildings. Dong Energy along with the rest of the oil- and gas industry looks increasingly toward northern Norway. The takeover will strengthen Dong Energy’s presence in the area. Dong Energy already has three exploration licenses in the Barents Sea, writes the company in an announcement on its website.
