Viking stays on the heels of the oil companies

Viking, the Danish supplier of maritime safety equipment, is following close behind the companies moving around the globe in search of oil. This means an increased focus on Africa and the Arctic, says Head of Communication Niels Frænde to ShippingWatch.

The Arctic and Africa are the two biggest new markets for Viking, the Danish manufacturer of maritime safety equipment based in Esbjerg.

“We follow the oil, and right now the oil is headed toward the Arctic and Africa,” says Niels Frænde, Head of Communication at Viking.
