Nordea: Tough times in shipping could last for years

The shipping industry will be facing hard times in the coming quarters and possibly even years to come, says President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Nordea, Christian Clausen, to Bloomberg TV.

Nordea does not expect the problems facing the shipping industry to be solved anytime soon.

“We expect that the coming quarters and possibly even years will be very hard on shipping. So an early response is crucial and so is handling it carefully and making sure customers are adopting the right measures,” says Christian Clausen, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Nordea, Christian Clausen, to Bloomberg TV.
