Maersk guarantees fairness to competitors

APM Terminals has submitted new proposals to the company’s offer of 20 billion Danish kroner in exchange for the right to run terminals in Virginia, USA. According to PilotOnline, Maersk will submit to surveillance by the city’s port authorities.

Maersk’s offer to buy the ports of Virginia was not favorably received by the local industry, according to The Virginia Maritime Association. The association has carried out a questionnaire among its members, and it did turn out well for APM Terminals, writes the local media Daily Press.
