
Swedish Orient Line takes over the Rostock-Hanko route on which the vessels M/F Merchant, M/F Aurora and M/F Urd now sailing between Travemünde and Liepaja will be deployed. The contract with Swedish Orient Line will take effect on 1 September 2012, Scandlines informs in a press release.
“SOL Continent Line is a small and efficient fast-growing and entrepreneurial shipping company. This purchase means that we increase our presence in the Baltic Sea and we expand our offers for present and future freight customers. This closely matches our ambition of becoming a competitive alternative in the industry”, Michael Kjellberg, CEO of Swedish Orient Line, says.
