Newsletter: Knud Stubkjær new CEO in American Carrix

The former shipowner and CEO of Maersk Line, Knud Stubkjær, has been appointed as the new CEO of the American container terminal group Carrix according to the Journal of Commerce.

Knud Stubkjær, who for many years was shipowner at Maersk and CEO of Maersk Line, has been appointed as the new CEO of Carrix, the largest American and privately held container terminal operator, the Journal of Commerce writes. Knud Stubkjær who left Maersk Line in 2007 to be succeeded by Eivind Kolding at the same time as Jess Søderberg passed over the reins of the Maersk Group to Nils Smedegaard, has since 2008 been CEO of the German E.R Schiffart, a Hamburg-based shipping company in which he was also partner. According to the Journal of Commerce, he will continue his responsibilities as a board member in the German company.
