Maersk profile to manage new trade organisation

Martin Peter Næsby, Managing Director of the new trade organisation Oil and Gas Denmark is a trained lawyer and has 15 years of experience from Maersk Oil. In May and June, his employment with Maersk Oil in Qatar overlapped with his new position but during the summer, he has worked full-time in his new position.

15 years with Maersk Oil; that is the experience of the Managing Director of the new trade organisation Oil Gas Denmark. In his new job, Martin Peter Næsby, a trained lawyer, will represent the Danish offshore companies’ interests to the politicians and the public.

Martin Peter Næsby has been employed by Maersk Oil in both Kazakhstan and Qatar. In Qatar, he was, among other things, in charge of the judicial frame conditions in the development of the oil field Al Shaheen – a development project with a value of USD 6.5 billion. Most recently, Martin Peter Næsby has been Project Manager for Corporate Technology & Projects giving him the responsibility for the Qatar Long Term Commitment Project.
