Nordsøfonden: New organisation to show that oil is green

Nordsøfonden and the Danish Energy Agency see exciting opportunities in the new trade organisation Oil Gas Denmark. They consider an assembling of interested parties positive as it may help give oil a good image.

Nordsøfonden, the Danish state’s oil and gas company and a partner in DUC (Danish Underground Consortium), and the Danish Energy Agency are very positive towards the joint efforts which may now be made in the new trade organisation Oil Gas Denmark. Nordsøfonden wishes that Oil Gas Denmark will point out that oil and clean environment are not necessarily contradictory.

Earlier this week, ShippingWatch described how the new organisation has been formed by uniting two former oil associations organised in the Federation of Danish Industry with the goal of fighting for the branding of the sector heavily affected by a lack of labour.
