Former Maersk CEO: Media very positive towards Maersk

Managing Director of Danske Bank, Eivind Kolding thinks the media has become a critical or reluctant impediment on the plans of streamlining and resurrecting Danske Bank. When his office was at Esplanaden as CEO of Maersk Line, the situation was completely the opposite. Here, he experienced an interest and positivism when news came from Maersk.

“Speaking with the light blue star behind you makes everybody listen with a positive attitude and they search that which confirms the positive angle. The situation is completely opposite when it comes to Danske Bank. The journalists start out recumbent with their arms crossed and present an attitude of: Is it really so?”, Eivind Kolding says in a Sunday interview with Berlingske.
