Maersk Line expects a “modest positive” full-year result for 2012

Maersk Line raises profit expectations for the full year of 2012 and now expects a “modest positive” result for the entire year, shows the interim report from the Maersk Group.

As it appears from a press release by the Maersk Group, Maersk Line expects that the full year of 2012 will display a “modest positive” result.

“Maersk Line will grow with the market and aims to achieve an EBIT-margin 5%-point above peers. The Group sees limited need for further contracting of new tonnage in the years to come and Maersk Line’s 38% share of the Group’s invested capital is likely to decline,” reads the interim report.
