Scan-Trans merges with American company Intermarine

The Danish company Scan-Trans is merging with the American company Intermarine, which will catapult the company into the league of the major players in project and heavy lift cargo.

From today onwards, Scan-Trans has merged with the American company Intermarine which is backed by the private equity company New Mountain Capital. Thereby, a new company has been created under the Intermarine name, a company with a global turnover of over $500 million and 50 multipurpose and heavy lift vessels with a lifting capacity of up to 800 tons at its disposal.
