Media: Open season for Norwegian engineers Class of 2013

The hunt for engineers in Norway is now so intense that every engineering student is receiving an average of 1.67 job offers before they have even graduated.  The hunt for the class of 2013 has already begun, writes Danish sector media, Ingeniøren.

Norwegian companies are fighting for the engineering graduates and this means newly educated engineers can pick and choose between offers of permanent employment from several employers. As such the Norwegian engineering graduates receive on average 1.67 job offers from the eager employers.

This appears from a labor market survey carried out by the Norwegian student organization Teknologiporten, writes Teknisk Ukeblad online according to Danish sector media Ingeniøren.
