Danish Maritime: We do focus on research

The Managing Director of Danish Maritime, Jenny Braat thinks that the maritime industry already takes part in research and development. So she says following the announcement of the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation on Wednesday expressing surprise that the maritime industry does not send in many applications.

There is hardly any doubt that in the future, the maritime industry will be increasingly visible as a partner in research and development programmes and in common projects across the industry, says Danish Maritime Managing Director, Jenny Braat.

On Wednesday, Managing Director of the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation, Carsten Orth Gaarn-Larsen, expressed his surprise that the foundation receives very few applications from the maritime industry. Not least, when taking the size of the industry and its role as a giant driving force in Danish business life challenged by many global demands and a tough competitive situation into consideration.
