Clipper on Intermarine: Will play an important role

The merger between Danish Scan-Trans and American Intermarine does not change Clipper’s plans of a multipurpose market consolidation. “Intermarine will play an important role”, Clipper says.

Clipper acknowledges the entry of a new important player in the multipurpose market following the Scan-Trans and Intermarine merger. Multipurpose is one of the most important Clipper segments. In the early parts of the summer, Clipper informed ShippingWatch that the carrier was actively working on a market consolidation. Now, it has taken place, but Clipper did not take part.
