Northern Jutland future prospects scaled down

Okay, adequate and sensible is the description of the position of the companies in the maritime cluster in Northern Jutland – the most northern part of Denmark – in a shipping industry struck by crisis; according to the companies themselves. Only Vestergaard Marine Service stands out from the rest.

It is felt in Northern Jutland that the shipping industry still lies by in some aspects. This makes the cluster, who rarely boasts of its position, hold back positive statements for its companies.

Managing Director of Mekanord, Søren Klyvø, is frank when speaking to ShippingWatch at the SMM conference in Hamburg this week.
