Shipowners praise DK government’s economic policies

The Danish Shipowners’ Association praises the outgoing Minister for Business and Growth, Ole Sohn, and his competencies as the country’s shipping minister. The shipowners also expect the new Minister to continue the work to strengthen the growth in the maritime industry and pick up where her predecessor left off.

Continuous, well-prepared, and dialogue-minded. This is how Deputy Director General of The Danish Shipowners' Association Jan Fritz Hansen summarizes Ole Sohn’s stint as Minister for shipping following Friday’s announcement that Sohn will not seek reelection and a post within the future ministerial team of the Socialist People’s Party.

Now the shipowners recommend that the government continue the work with its growth team for the maritime industry in Denmark, a team which the new Minister for Business and Growth will take on.
