Peter V. Stokbro comes from a world of machines. In 1994, he graduated as engineer from the Maritime Training and Education Centre in Frederikshavn. Since then, he has moved from the technical to the administrative and managerial through positions such as technical manager and ship inspector. Now he is looking to move even closer to top management by taking a MBA course at Henley Business School.
“I am ready for new challenges and in order to prepare for these challenges and a future promotion opportunity, I need to improve my abilities and skills, theoretically as well as in practise. I believe that it may be supported by starting on the Henley MBA programme in order to develop my managerial skills and provide me with the right tools to analyse and establish new strategies for a company”, says Peter V. Stokbro, one of the 100 people chosen by the Danish Maritime Foundation to be supported with a grant for an MBA programme.
