Ramboll to double Norwegian oil business

Ramboll Oil & Gas wants to be twice as big in Norway as it is today. That means rapid hiring in the years to come, but it will be hard to find the right people, says the company’s Norwegian director, Gro Baade-Mathiesen, to ShippingWatch.

The number of employees must be doubled up, to approximately 150, a new office will be opened, and the customer portfolio needs to grow. Those are the plans for Ramboll Oil & Gas’ Norwegian office. The hiring should happen as soon as possible, the new offices will be opened within the next five years, and the customer portfolio should grow steadily.

“Things need to happen fast right now, so that we can reach 120 and 150 employees as soon as possible. We believe that the Norwegian sector will stay very active until 2030,” says Gro Baade-Mathiesen, regional director of Norway at Ramboll Oil & Gas.
