Westcon in new shipyard deal in Norway

Norwegian shipyard group Westcon Group has acquired STX Norway Florø and related design business STX Norway Design Florø.

Norwegian shipyard group Westcon Group has acquired STX Norway Florø and related design business STX Norway Design Florø, according to an announcement by Westcon.

"The acquisition will create new opportunities, while also strengthening Westcon's position as a leading provider of shipyard services in the North Sea," says Arne Birkeland, Vice President of Westcon Group, in a press release.
