Maersk Chairman defends stock options

The ongoing criticism of stock options for CEOs in Denmark annoys the Chairman of A.P. Moeller-Maersk, Michael Pram Rasmussen. "If done correctly, it's a good scheme", he tells Danish newspaper Børsen.


Stock options for the country's CEOs are sometimes criticized by both the industries and the politicians, and Michael Pram Rasmussen, Chairman of A.P. Moeller-Maersk, is tired of that, writes Børsen.

"They've been discredited from time to time, because some of them haven't been very well planned. But if done right, I think they're a very good solution", he tells Børsen, rejecting the criticism:
