Notorious Somali pirate leader to stop his career

One of the most notorious leaders of several Somali pirate groups has announced that he has ended his career and that other leaders look to do the same.

The probably most notorious leader of pirate groups will now finish his criminal career.

Last week Mohammed Abdi Hassan, known and feared under the name “Big Mouth”, announced that he will finish his eight year career, in which his pirate groupings have tormented the international shipping industry in the Indian Ocean with a high number of spectacular hijackings and have earned millions of dollars in ransom money, New York Times and CNN report.
