CBS unites maritime research and education in new centre

Copenhagen Business School will unite all maritime education and research in a new high-profiled centre, ShippingWatch learns. A number of key companies from the shipping industry is meant to deliver the building blocks.

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) has decided to unite all education and research programme within the maritime industry taking place at CBS in a new centre, CBS Maritime, which will be presented on 12 March.

ShippingWatch learns that the initiative will unite the programmes from the present Centre for Shipping Economics and Innovation, Blue MBA (Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics) and single courses within the maritime industry in the new centre and that considerations to establish a new maritime Bachelor programme are already being made. If the Bachelor programme was to become reality, it would focus on the wishes made during the industry’s process of the maritime growth proposal.
