Euronav prolongs convertible bonds by three years

The Belgian tanker carrier Euronav has received its investors’ support to prolong the duration of convertible bonds at a total of USD 150 millions by three years. So the company informs in a press release.

The listed Belgian tanker carrier Euronav has received support to prolong the duration of the company’s convertible bonds due in 2015 until 2018 form 82 percent of its investors.

Furthermore, Euronav states that if all new and existing bonds were converted to shares, it would represent approximately 25 percent of the company’s capital.
