Barack Obama: We need modern ports

Among a number of other issues, the American President, Barack Obama, addressed the American ports in his State of the Union. Modern ports and good infrastructure are imperative to create more jobs and kick-start the economy, he said.

If the USA is to leave the crisis behind a well-developed infrastructure is one of the demands. And one of the components to this is modern ports, the American President, Barack Obama, stated in his State of the Union.

“'I am proposing a Partnership to Rebuild America that attracts private capital to upgrade what our businesses need most: modern ports to move our goods; modern pipelines to withstand a storm; modern schools worthy of our children. Let's prove that there is no better place to do business than the United States of America. And let's start right away,” Barack Obama said during his speech.
