Today, the final conditions on two DFDS newbuildings were met. The contracts are signed by DFDS and the German shipyard P+S Werften GmbH, Stralsund, and deal with the construction of two ro-ro freight ships, DFDS informs in a press release.

The newbuildings are a part of the cooperation agreement DFDS has in place with the Danish defence and, since 2006, the German defence on delivery of vessel capacity for defence transport assignments. The cooperation is built on charter agreements from 2013 to 2021.
