Copenhagen Police has charged Clipper’s management with violating the so-called Act on Taxation at the Source. Clipper has violated the act by failing to include withholding tax on employee bonuses totalling USD 20.8 million, which has cost the Danish government minimum USD 3.5 million, leading the Danish tax services to levy a fine of USD 350,000, Ritzau writes.
