Hamburg Süd sells bulk business

The German carrier, owned by Maersk, has just landed a deal to sell its bulk assets. The deal concerns about 45 vessels.

Maersk-owned German carrier Hamburg Süd has just closed a deal to sell its bulk assets, which include Rudolf A. Oetker (RAO), Furness Withy Chartering and bulk activities in Aliança Navegacão.

The buyer is Swire Group's subsidiary The China Navigation Company, which is headquartered in Singapore, reveals the German carrier in a press release.
