Eagle Bulk lost money in the first quarter

The economic turbulence triggered by the coronavirus has sent US-based dry bulk operator Eagle Bulk into the red. But the shipping company's CEO remains optimistic.

US-based dry bulk operator Eagle Bulk Shipping exits the first quarter with a deficit.

The bottom line shows a deficit of USD 3.5 million, down from a profit of USD 29 million in the same period 2019.
