Clipper sells spin-off company to Norway's Kongsberg

Clipper Group has sold spin-off company Coach Solutions with 16 employees to Norway's Kongsberg. "Software development is not a core competence for Clipper," says CEO Peder Norborg.

After four years as an independent company, software firm Coach Solutions is now sold by Clipper to Norway's Kongsberg Group.

The company, which develops digital surveillance technology for shipping, was originally developed by Clipper, but according to the CEO, the product falls outside of the shipping company's core business.
