Germany's Oldendorff joins a project that tests vertical rotor sails on large dry bulk ships. The goal is to map barriers for the commercial use of the technology.

Major German dry bulk ship operator Oldendorff Carriers joins a project aimed at developing rotor sails for dry bulkers.

This happens in partnership with Anemoi Marine Technologies, Lloyd's Register and Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute.
