Eagle Bulk surpasses its best annual result in just three months

Money is pouring in at US dry bulk company Eagle Bulk, which is benefiting from a strong dry bulk market with soaring freight rates, according to the third quarter report.

The CEO of US dry bulk operator Eagle Bulk, Gary Vogel, is struggling to contain his enthusiasm following the historically strong earnings posted in its third quarter report.

Eagle Bulk booked an operating result (EBITDA) of USD 91 million in the third quarter and a net result of USD 78 million – and over the first nine months of the year, Eagle Bulk has booked an adjusted net result of USD 121.7 million.
