Shipping group calls for political action to make shipping green

If shipping is to reach its climate target, it is not enough to merely make energy cuts, the CEO of Grieg Maritime Group states.
"I think it would be brave to build a vessel that you want to have for 30 years that has no road map for carbon capture or green fuels," says Matt Duke, CEO of Grieg Maritime Group. | Photo: Grieg Maritime Group

The shipping industry is itself capable of doing much to bring down its CO2 emissions, but saving on energy is insufficient for the industry’s green transition.
