
The two John Fredriksen-owned companies Knightsbridge Tankers Limited and Frontline 2012 are merging their activities for major dry bulk ships to create one of the world's largest Capesize carriers. The two stock-listed companies combined will control a total of 39 modern Capesize ships, according to brief to the stock exchange on Thursday.
Frontline 2012 has 25 eco-design newbuildings in the orderbook, with five set for delivery in 2014, 14 in 2015, and the remaining six set for delivery in 2016.
