Brazil's major mining company experienced a 12.6 percent increase in iron ore production in the 2nd quarter, and the company achieved its best quarter ever for iron ore production, according to Vale's 2nd quarter interim report, published Friday.
The iron ore production came to 79.4 Mt (megatons) and the company saw improvements across the board compared to the first quarter.
